Ihram

When performing Umrah, Muslims enter the state of Ihram at a Miqat, making the intention for Umrah and wearing special clothing. Men wear two white, unstitched cloths, while women wear modest dress without covering the face or hands. In this state, pilgrims must avoid cutting hair or nails, using perfume, and arguing. Ihram symbolizes purity, humility, and unity among all Muslims.
